An artificial intraocular lens is implanted instead.

                Artificial lenses are produced through high technology. Depending on the condition of the patient's eye, a monofocal, bifocal or multifocal intraocular lens can be implanted. These implanted lenses are capable of staying in the eye for a lifetime.

                Cataract surgery is performed under local anesthesia. No hospitalization is required after the surgery. Drop treatment is required for 1 month after the surgery. There is no restriction on air travel following the first day postoperative control.
