About

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şahbaz has cared for thousands of patients and helped bring thousands of babies into the world over a 15-year medical career. Dr. Şahbaz entered university on a scholarship and graduated with honors. During residency training, Dr. Şahbaz passed the USMLE examinations and qualified for ECFMG certification, the United States medical certification. From 2010 to 2011, Dr. Şahbaz worked as a Research Assistant at the Women's Health Center of Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. More than 50 scientific articles by Dr. Şahbaz have been published in international and national academic journals. Areas of interest include pregnancy monitoring, screening and diagnostic tests in pregnancy, detailed ultrasonography, polycystic ovary syndrome, uterine surgery, fibroid (myoma) surgery, contraceptive methods, menopause follow-up and genital aesthetics.
